Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Introduction

This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the process for cancelling automotive battery services, changing appointments and handling refund requests.

The policy applies to vehicle battery checks, battery replacement and fitting services arranged through EliteVolt.

Refund decisions are assessed based on the actual circumstances of each request, including completed work, preparation time, materials arranged and any reasonable costs already incurred.

2. Cancellation Requests

Customers may request cancellation before the scheduled service begins.

  • Cancellation requests should be submitted through the available contact channels with sufficient booking information.
  • Customers should provide their name, contact details and appointment information when requesting cancellation.
  • Requests received before service preparation begins will normally be reviewed with consideration given to any costs already incurred.
  • Appointment changes may be requested where suitable availability exists.

3. Refund Assessment Based On Actual Loss

Refunds are not calculated using fixed percentage levels. Each refund request is reviewed individually based on the actual loss, costs and service progress associated with the cancellation.

  • Where no work has started and no costs have been incurred, a full refund may be considered.
  • Where preparation work, inspection arrangements or administrative processing has already taken place, reasonable costs may be deducted.
  • Where parts, materials or service resources have been arranged specifically for the appointment, costs directly related to these arrangements may be considered.
  • Where service work has already started, refund eligibility will depend on the completed work and costs already incurred.

4. Circumstances Affecting Refund Eligibility

Refund consideration may be affected by the following situations:

  • Battery inspection, testing or fitting work has already been completed.
  • Vehicle information provided during booking was incomplete or inaccurate.
  • A suitable service preparation process has already been completed.
  • The customer is unavailable at the agreed appointment time without prior notice.
  • Additional vehicle conditions prevent completion of the requested service.

5. Service Cancellation Examples

Before Preparation

Cancellation may qualify for a higher refund where no service-related costs have occurred.

After Preparation

Reasonable costs already incurred may be considered when reviewing the refund amount.

After Service Starts

Refund availability depends on completed work and actual costs involved.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed after the cancellation review has been completed.

  • Refund review is normally completed within 3 business days.
  • Approved refunds are processed after confirmation of the final refund amount.
  • Processing time may vary depending on the payment provider and account processing procedures.

7. Appointment Changes

Customers may request appointment changes before the scheduled service time.

  • Changes depend on available appointment capacity.
  • Early notice helps reduce unnecessary preparation costs.
  • Repeated changes may require additional confirmation.

8. Service Responsibility

  • Battery compatibility depends on accurate vehicle information supplied during booking.
  • Additional vehicle issues identified during inspection may require separate discussion before further work.
  • Service completion depends on vehicle condition and reasonable access to the vehicle.
  • Delays caused by inaccurate information or circumstances outside reasonable control may affect appointment arrangements.

9. Policy Updates

This Cancellation & Refund Policy may be updated when service procedures or operational requirements change.

The latest version displayed on this page applies to future service requests.
